What is the GOe2CONNECT – Clinical Innovation Forum?

Where clinical needs meet innovation and industry.

The Clinical Innovation Forum creates a platform where clinical insights meet scientific discovery and entrepreneurial ambition. The Forum brings together leading voices from medicine, life sciences, startups, and industry to explore how innovation can address today’s most pressing healthcare challenges since transforming healthcare requires more than scientific excellence alone to turn unmet medical needs into impactful solutions.

One challenge. Three perspectives. New solutions.

Each event brings three perspectives to the table: clinical practice, innovative solutions, and industry expertise.

How does it work?

Each event focuses on a specific medical challenge, disease area, or field of research identified by a university hospital. Together with its partners, GOe FUTURE identifies a startup, project team, or technology working on, or with the potential to address, this challenge. An industry partner adds expertise in development, market access, and implementation.

In a panel discussion in front of a live audience, the three stakeholders explore where clinical needs, innovation, and industrial implementation can come together. The event concludes with a get-together, providing space for personal exchange, new connections, and potential collaborations.

What to Expect

  • Clinical needs connected with innovation: Relevant clinical challenges are identified and matched with promising startups, technologies, and project teams.
  • Cross-sector collaboration: Clinicians, innovators, and industry partners come together to create new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Knowledge exchange: A platform for sharing insights, experiences, and perspectives across healthcare, science, startups, and industry.
  • From idea to practice: Explore how innovative ideas can be further developed, validated, and translated into real-world healthcare applications.
  • A stronger regional ecosystem: Key players across Göttingen, Braunschweig, and Hannover connect, building a stronger, more visible regional network.
  • New partnerships: Meaningful connections that can lead to collaborations, pilot projects, investments, or other forms of partnership.
